Mondawmin
"The Harlem of Baltimore"
Mondawmin is The Harlem of Baltimore Before the gentrification. The strong black neighborhood has always been famous for Violence, Racism, Rioting and Crime. Do not move to Mondawmin. All of these other reviews are completely inept and moving here is very dangerous. You would be safer anywhere else. It is not just a race thing I have black colleagues who won't go to this neighborhood because they would be in fear of their lives. One of whom grew up there. North Avenue is a punchline in Baltimore city and considered the most dangerous street in the city. Do not listen to these other reviews. Avoid this neighborhood.

"Very ugly part of town"
Cherry Hill is one of the southernmost neighborhoods in Baltimore. Cherry Hill is home to the largest housing project still around in Baltimore. The area has always been known as a dangerous neighborhood to outsiders. It is a rough neighborhood with a lot of drugs, Tons of gang violence and a lot of poverty. The majority of the neighborhood is African-American with a very small amount of Whites in the area. Overall, This neighborhood isn't good at all. If i were you I would just rather live in my mom's basement. It's definitely one of the most dangerous neighborhoods.

"Dangerous"
Sandtown is an extremely dangerous exclusively African-American neighborhood. I would describe it as one of the most deprived neighborhoods in The United States. Avoid this neighborhood at all cost. If you have to drive through here make sure you exercise increased caution. If you find yourself as a pedestrian of the streets go to the closest business and get out of this neighborhood as fast as you possibly can. I have a friend who grew up next to this neighborhood and he was very glad to have gotten away from his blighted past. The main reason behind all of this is both of the old and modern riots that both hit the community very hard and the project housing that was torn down decades ago taking a lot of opportunity away from the community as a whole.
