Plymouth is most famous for the faux rock that the pilgrims were supposed to have landed upon. Beyond the rock, however, there are small and classic shops as well as places to dine out at every corner.
Nightlife in Plymouth is severely lacking as there are local bars but ones with little to no activety at. Clubs are just about non-existant but there is some dancing downtown at the harbor resteraunts. Seafood is the food of choice in almost every resteraunt of Plymouth. There are resteraunts such as Lobster Hut, The Weathervane, and even Isaacs. Neighbors are polite and courteous, but rarely go out of their way to communicate. There is also, however, the regular part of town that is referred to as "the bad part" of Plymouth.
When it comes to being wired, Plymouth isn't one of the top runners. Some fast food places and hotels have wifi available but walking down the street you're not about to pick up a random signal. Cell phone use is frequent so signals are very high in almost all spots. Technology is basic, but good nonetheless.
Plymouth offers the fresh smell of ocean water as well as very little pests running around. It's a remotely quiet town with the exception of those living on the streets that have constant drivers and occasional police sirens. At night, with the windows shut, it's hard to hear much of anything. As that goes, it's extremely safe with the exception of occassional fights.
The cost of living in Plymouth is fair, and actually a lot better seeings how it offers such great stores and attractions of tour value.
Plymouth has a variety of school choices such as Charter schools, and Public ones as well. The one charter school offer is a great alternate if one prefers not to send their child to a completely public school. The public schools, however, are often pointed out for their being unsafe and dirty. They have the usual fights, and often have drug searches as well as lockdowns. Governement itself is far different as police often come within minutes of being called. Plymouth is an overall great town and popular for tourist attractions as well.
