Brotherhood Way
"Fast-Moving Traffic Through A Collection of Religious Buildings."
Brotherhood Way is home to a number of churches and religious buildings including a synagogue, an Armenian Church, a Catholic Church, a Masonic Temple and a Greek Orthodox Church. There are a lot of trees and it's very pleasant and shadt. Traffic tends to move very quickly along Brotherhood as it's a major connector between Alemany and Lake Merced and 19th Avenue. There are some nice planted areas next to the residential neighborhoods. It's rare to see pedestrians here.

Prague St
"Residential Street in the Exclesior and Crocker Amazon"
Prague runs into Crocker Amazon Park at the bottom of a steep hill. It's a very residential street and a bit secluded from retail and other services. It's quiet and well kept and unassuming. The new soccer fields in Crocker Amazon Park are very close. Prague picks up again south of Geneva in the Crocker-Amazon neighborhood with a slightly more suburban feel. At the opposite end, Prague deadends into McLaren Park.

laa Grande Ave
"Secluded but pleasant and friendly"
La Grande Avenue is the edge of the Excelsior and is the last street before McLaren Park. So it's almost like living in the forest. It's very quiet and there's lots of wildlife. However, it's also a little close the the projects. There's a nice little park adjacent to the water tank at La Grande in the park. There are a lot of unique homes tucked into this street.

Laurel St
"Swanky neighborhood, great access to shops and the Presidio"
Laurel Street connects Presidio Heights to Laurel Heights. There are a lot of great shops on both California at Laurel Village and along Sacramento. House on Laurel are generally large and expensive. It's a great neighborhood for walking though some of the hills as you approach the Presidio are somewhat steep.Julius Hahn Playground to the north is a great neighborhood amenity. It's super safe around here, too.

France Ave
"Super Steep Hill!"
France Avenue runs from Mission Street up the hill towards Crocker Amazon Park. The first couple blocks of it are really steep. Because of the steepness, a lot of traffic uses Russia Avenue, the next street over to the north. Otherwise, it's a pretty unremarkable street with a variety of single family homes, some of which have great views because of the hill. France dead ends just after Moscow where there is a small pedestrian path that connects it to Munich Street.

"Typical Excelsior Thoroughfare"
Russia Ave is one of the many "country" streets in the Excelsior district. It's one street over from Persia Street but doesn't have the beautiful trees that Persia does. It borders a nice playground (Excelsior Playground). There are stop signs at nearly every intersection so the traffic is very slow but there is quite a bit of back and forth traffic between Mission Street and the interior of the neighborhood. It's relatively flat compared to France Ave, which is the next street south so it's easier for walking and biking. There are several bus lines that cross Russia.

Moscow St
"Charming Homes in Crocker Amazon neighborhood"
South Hill Boulevard has some cute little houses along it and is in great condition. The street itself is kind of narrow though and there is sometimes trouble when two cars try to pass each other. The street leads up into the Daly City hills so there is a fair amount of traffic to access Daly CIty and Geneva Street. The 43 bus stops here and it's also a pleasant place to walk.

"Borders on Crocker Amazon Park"
Moscow Street border on Crocker Amazon Playground and has immediate access to all the playfields, playgrounds, bocce courts, tennis courts, dog walk areas, and community gardens in the park. It does have a bit more traffic on it then some of the other streets nearby since it provides the first access to Geneva for a lot of the streets that dead-end at the park. There are speed bumps that reduce speeds on the street. Houses are well-maintained. As with a lot of the Excelsior, there's not a lot of nightlife or great restaurants.

"Right off of Market Street"
Clinton Park is great because it's a small alley street right off Market Street so it's super convenient though not right on top of everything. Just a block away from Safeway and the shopping center, it has access to LOTS while still feeling secluded. The street car (F) stops at the Dolores Street side of Clinton Park and the Muni Metro is about two more blocks away. Parking is awful if you don't have a spot of your own though.

"Quiet Excelsior Living"
Munich Street has a lot of different characters. The street terminates at one point at Crocker-Amazon Park, making for a quiet dead-end street. The neighbors know each other and there are a lot of people who have lived there for a long time. Most of the homes are owner-occupied. It's a quick walk over to Mission or Geneva Street where there are shops and such. Not a ton of great restaurants in the neighborhood.
