"A wealthy Asian immigrant neighborhood"

It is mostly a safe, boring family neighborhood whose demographics mostly consist of Asian and Indian immigrant families who pay premium price for the outstanding high-ranked schools in the area. Thus, the cost of housing is sky high due to high demand, even though most houses are generally mediocre and unlively for their price. The folks aren't usually the social type—a lot of residents don't know their neighbors well and often keep to themselves. If you aren't Asian or Indian, you and your children may feel like an outsider here.
There is a small plaza on the intersection of Miller and Bollinger for all your grocery and pharmaceutical needs. Going up north you will reach Vallco, which is one of the worst performing malls in America. But now there are efforts going on to renew that area. The AMC 16 movie theater is the most popular entertainment attraction.
There are bus stops here and there, but to get around, you need a car. Traffic is dependent on the time of day. It gets busy during rush hour in the morning and in the evening when folks are commuting home to and from work. After school, the kids are crossing the street or their parents are driving them home, which causing huge congestions around the Miller and Rainbow intersection. Otherwise, the road is fairly clear. But expect to hear cars driving by if you choose to live on this street.
Children can walk to school on their own without a problem, even the younger ones. Since 2008, there were efforts to have more crossing guards to help children cross the road to school. Those who use the sidewalk are often retired folks who enjoy to take walks or kids who walk to school. In the evenings, adults like to take walks to the park or exercise.
Crime does happen from time to time, but is mostly on a small scale. Car break-ins are on the rise as a common crime. However, you won't feel in danger walking alone at night.
