"Lots of foot traffic"
John Kirk Dr (formerly E. Mallard Creek) is a connector for the off campus housing of UNCC. There are several apartment complexes as well as the recently added Greek Village of on campus fraternity/sorority houses. This road was recently diverted to be more inviting to the campus life and safer for the foot traffic between the housing and UNCC's campus. It is an ideal palce for students to rent an apartment or for investment property.

"Accessability to everything"
JM Keynes has everything that you could possibly look for, housing (lakefront apartments/condos), good shopping (Old Navy, Talbots to name a few), good local restaurants and nightlife. The road wraps around the Shoppes at university Place which includes several banks, retail stores, restaurants and bar/nightlife spots. The entire complex surrounds a manmade lake that features a walking trail and paddle boats as well as the lakefront apartments/condos.

Technology Dr
"The road to nowhere.."
Technology Dr is one of several "entrances" into the University Research Park area of Charlotte,NC. There is a nice apartment complex with loft style apartments located above some smaller retail and restaurant vendors. It is very convenient to the local Wachovia "complex" as well as headquarters to several other national businesses and technology/research firms. There is 1 large national chain restaurant and that is Red Robin located directly off of Technology (althogh it can only be accessed using a U-Turn).

"Busier than you might think..."
Harris Houston Rd at 1st glance is a quiet 2 lane rd that has several older, estblished neighborhoods that flank either side as well as several houses that are directly on Harris Houston. Unfortunately it is also a connector or cut through between 2 more heavily populated roads and the local concert pavillion. While the noise from th pavillion is not easily heard, the increased traffic during concert season is clearly evident. There are several smaller local restaurants on either end of Harris Houston and some small retail but no national chains. If you live directly on Harris Houston Rd the traffic should be a big concern if you have small children (the posted speed limit is 35 but no speed bumps to control) if you are sinle or adult couples should have no real problem with the Rd.
