This was a fantastic day. An early start - picked up at 5.20am from the hotel - from there the day ran like clockwork. Flights to and from Buffalo were good. Our guides were there to meet us in Buffalo and were funny and informative throughout the day. The visit got better and better starting on the American side of the falls and then moving to the Canadian side for even more spectacular views.
From the start to the finish we were looked after extremely well, especially at the Niagara Falls end where we were met by our wonderful tour guide, who spoke to us in three languages and kept us all entertained throughout the day. He was a very kind and patient man who was able to answer any questions we had. The reason we took this trip was to experience the Falls, and we were not disappointed, the sheer might and power of one of the natural wonders of the world was breath taking. Once again I would like to thank you and especially our fantastic tour guide for a wonderful memory filled day.
We had a great day. The Falls themselves, of course, are the star of the event but the administration of the day was very smooth which added to the experience. Our guide was friendly, funny and informative. The highlight of the lunch was the view, and being off-season, there was plenty of room so that we all got tables near the window.Eat as much as you like and the food is quality, plus the restaurant view over the falls are great. The scenic tunnels provide a different and much closer view of the falls and some decent photo opportunities, it's basically just a low viewing platform. I had a lovely day there and could have stayed longer. Well worth doing this if you get the chance.
This tour exceeded my wildest expectations, and believe me, we were expecting a lot. I would definitely recommend anyone thinking of taking this trip to do so. The day is extremely long but worth every minute.
