Oak St. is located in a residential area and runs between S. 1st Street and Palm St. It is one of the greatest parts to raise children as Washington Elementary School is on the 100 block of Oak St. Washington Elementary School has a large athletic field which is primarily used for baseball and soccer purposes. Traffic on this street is light, and most houses are single story. The community on the street is strong, however, most homes have fences around them, which give the street an enclosed aura.
