"Perfect place for people who love peace and quiet and green space and proximity to Downtown Flushing"
Bowne Park (North Flushing / Whitestone) is a suburban park like neighborhood that is very close to Downtown Flushing. The area is one of the safest neighborhoods in NYC and has great schools.
It is mostly made up of single and two family houses. Not many large chain stores within the neighborhood, but most people have a car here and large chain stores such as Macy's, Target, BJs, and Stop and Shop and Shoprite are within reach in a few minutes.
Beautiful Bowne park has a nice size pond, and sport facilities such as track and field, and tennis courts, handballs, basketball courts, baseball fields are in the Flushing Field.
Multiple bus lines such as Q15, 15A, 16, 34, to Downtown Flushing, QM20 express buses to Manhattan
