Hampton Blvd is a sailor's dream. They can travel to and from work in a breeze on this street. Not only does it give them direct access to the Naval Base but they can live right off the base, in military housing, located off Hampton Blvd. After work, their fellow shipmates can travel down Hampton Blvd (towards downtown) and stop for Happy Hour at one of the pubs located near Old Dominion University. And if they're not interested in drinks, then they can take a stroll through some of the most fantastic neighborhood's such as Ghent or the Glenwood community. There are awesome places to eat and direct access to downtown or the Midtown tunnel which takes you right to Chesapeake, Suffolk or Hampton, VA.

S. Military Hwy is the highway to be on. With ample shopping centers, car lots and eateries, you will never want for something to do on a Friday or Saturday night. And after you cross over I-264 and the beautiful Elizabeth River you will run into even more awesome night activities in the city of Virginia Beach. S. Military Hwy, Norfolk conveniently runs into Virginia Beach Blvd & Princess Anne Rd making it absolutely easy to find your way to the beach scene. Military Hwy will take you to virtually any street in Norfolk making getting around for new comers stress free!
