"Great Quiet Apartments"

As far as location goes, this is only about two blocks from Arundel and Aberdeen, so it also enjoys a close proximity to the huge park, great shopping, and delectable dining. However, Northwood is mostly apartment buildings. It still has a cozy quiet feel and would be great for couples, singles, or a family jsut starting out. The buildings are neat and well-kept and the apartments that I visited were spacious and inexpensive.

"The Sister street"

this street is what I would call the sister street to Aberdeen Place. Like Aberdeen, Arundel Place is near a park, shopping and dining, but it is a little further from campus (about a block). It seems to be mostly families and less college students so it is a little quieter. This would be a great alternative to Aberdeen for people looking for a little more privacy. Still near everything in this great location and there is still plenty to keep you busy.

"Great Street for Anyone"

This street would be perfect for almost anyone. It is near the university so perfect for students. It is quiet and peaceful (great for young kids and retirees). It is full of kids of all ages so a wonderful fit for families with kids. It is right near plenty of shopping and dining as well as the downtown area. Also, at one end there is a huge park that's great for a walk, run, or any other outdoor activity.

"Lots of Professors"

This street is populated mostly by professors at the nearby University and their families. It is quiet and quaint. I would guess, however, that if you weren't a professor it would be difficult to live here as most of your neighbors would have that in common. Despite this fact, though, it is a beautiful little road with friendly people and nice homes. A perfect environment for a family, though probably not singles or young couples.

"Better College Living"

This road has some great homes for both college students and others. The homes are very well-kept and you can barely tell many belong to college students. the students that live here tend to be older or even graduate students and so the noise level is significantly lower than on other streets this close to campus. It would be ideal for student, non-students, and even families with older kids. Though it would probably still be too loud for retirees and young kids.

"Great little college street"

This street is mostly college students. The houses are well-kept, but do tend to show those tell-tale college signs like overgrown grass, psychedelic tapestries inside, et cetera. It is only about a block away from Washington University and would be perfect for a group of college students, singles, or couples within that twenty-something age-range. It can get noisy, so probably not great for kids or retirees.

"Gorgeous Homes For Large Families"

These homes are simply stunning, both outside and inside. They would be perfect for a large family. In fact, they are right across the street from a massive park that would provide fun in all seasons. The only drawback would be that the houses are so far apart that it's difficult to meet neighbors unless you have kids in the same school. For this reason, I would not recommend this road to singles, young couples, or retirees.

"Great Apartments for Singles and Couples"

This street is pretty much only apartments. I do not think there are any houses on this road. However, it is home to some absolutely gorgeous apartments that are not too expensive either. They have beautiful views of downtown St. Louis and are right near some prime dining and shopping. This would be perfect for a single or couple working in downtown St. Louis and want some peace and quiet when they get home.

"Much nicer area of St. Louis"

If you're looking for a decent neighborhood to raise a family in, yet still be close enough to the city that the commute will not take it's toll, this is the place for you. the neighbors are friendly and outgoing and there are plenty of kids to make friends with. As for the adults, most of the families have kids, so PTA is a staple around here.

"Kind of Unkempt"

I would not suggest this street for families or retirees. The people didn't seem very friendly and pretty much just stayed int heir houses. It does have a redeeming quality, however. It is only about ten minutes to the center of St. Louis. It would be perfect for a single or a couple who worked downtown and do not want to have to deal with a long commute.
