"noisy street near freeway"

Glenwood Ave is a short street that runs right along side Interstate 20. Unfortunately this means lots of traffic noise. There is a sound barricade, but it is not very effective when your home faces a busy interstate highway. This street does have a good location, close proximity to parks, schools, and the interstate for commuters, but the noise would make it a not very peaceful place to live.

"lovely older neighborhood near park"

Park Avenue South East is a quiet and quaint street that runs alongside Fulton Park in south Atlanta. There are many nice older homes with great character. Park Ave is quiet and the proximity to the park is great, but you are also close to many restaurants and shopping on Boulevard SE, so it is a great location.

"Improving neighborhood"

Bass Street South East, like many other nearby streets in the Grant Park area of Atlanta, has good and bad points. The street is quiet, with many trees, and very peaceful. However, some homes are in a state of disrepair, but others are being remodeled. Gentrification is going on in many nearby neighborhoods, and I hope it continues into Grant Park.

"great for walking/jogging!"

Confederate Avenue South East is a beautiful street that winds right through Fulton Park, near the Atlanta Zoo.This is a great place to walk or jog because there is little traffic, and the park is gorgeous. There are many large, old trees that give you a feel of being more in the country or suburbs than near busy downtown Atlanta. This is an oasis near downtown.

"not the best neighborhood"

Atlanta Ave South East runs on the south end of Grant Park, all the way over to I-75. It is not really the best neighborhood, more of a means to get where you are going. Some blocks are nicer than others, the east end is fairly nice but the west end had a feel of being run down and a little unsafe.

"quiet, hilly street"

Pavilion Street South East is a fairly steep, hilly street near the more major roads of Georgia Ave and Cherokee Ave. It is very close to the Atlanta Zoo. The street is quiet and has beautiful trees, but the houses are a little run down and it needs some work to be a really nice street. It did not seem unsafe or noisy, just older and not well taken care of. The location is very centrally located to schools, parks, and the interstate.

"tree-lined street near park"

Berne Street South East is a lovely little street near central downtown Atlanta, right next to Grant Park/Atlanta Zoo. It has beautiful older trees lining the street and a great view of the park. The homes are older in design, from the 1930s - 1950s, and are nice and well maintained. This is a very quiet area and would be a pleasant place to walk or live.

"Great potential left unfulfilled"

Loomis Avenue South East is a short street that runs from near I-20 and runs right into Grant Park, where the Atlanta Zoo is located. The older homes have a lot of character and the neighborhood has great potential to be very beautiful and charming, and has a great location. However, many homes have fallen into disrepair, but several were being renovated when I was in the area, so I have hopes for this neighborhood to greatly improve.

"nice older street, improving"

Rosalia St. South East runs through the Grant Park area of Atlanta. This is an older neighborhood and was not considered very nice or safe in the past, but has recently begun to improve immensely. Houses are small but well-kept, and the older houses have a unique character. This neighborhood also benefits from a close proximity to Grant Park and the Atlanta Zoo.

"cute neighborhood, needs some TLC"

Sydney St. SE is near the heart of downtown Atlanta. It runs parallel to I-20, right up to Grant Park and the Atlanta Zoo. It is a cute older neighborhood but appeared a little run down. Nearby neighborhoods (Cabbagetown, Old 4th Ward) are undergoing gentrification that has not quite reached Sydney St. It is not a bad neighborhood, though, fairly quiet and close to the park.
