Linden Blvd
"What you would expect"
This area is not all that bad pretty much what you would expect for a residential are. It has nice homes which really comes down to the owner if they are squared away their homes will look nice if not it will reflect. The best thing to do if you consider buying property any where is too take drives past where you would are lookng to buy but a walk would do you better so you can have more time to pay attention to detail as you stroll along. This area might be good to move to but like i said it's pretty much up to what you like and I say this is in between there's a little bit of crime as in any area but nothing to stay in the house over.

"Not that great"
This street is all not that great but it is not that bad. The crime here is not too high but you have the occasional hoodlum trying to be a tough guy so it does get annoying at times. This place has great potential being that it is mixed with houses and apartments but it's really the people of the area that bring it down. if everyone pulled together this could be a great place to live but we know that is far from ever happening. In conclusion it's ok but it's not cool.

Steinway St
"The beginning of Steinway"
20th Ave and Steinway Street is pretty much where Steinway begins. Here you can catch the bus (public transportation) for a tour of Steinway in the fullest. From here you can pretty much get off at any stop on this Bus Route and find yourself induldged in eat-in restaurants and fast food for those on the go. After a meal you can entertain yourself with a movie at the Astoria Movie Theater. And on a Friday night you can go out for a dance at the night clubs located throughout Steinway. It's chock-full of fun!

Hollis Court Blvd
"Close to college"
This avenue intersects with a very fine university that turns out excellent lawyers and that is St. John's university " The Red Storm". If you will be a future student at this university this might be a good place to try and find a place to live. The area is nice easy access to transportation and crime is not high I would advise anyone going there to look it up.

Main St
"Different world here"
I love Main street as it really transforms into a different place here. It is mostly occupied by people of asian descent and all the shops and buildings make you feel as you are really in their country of origin. The crime is low and there is a better sense of security here. One train ride take you down to flushing medows beautiful park, everyone should go there for good times and much fun.

45th Dr
"Top of the list"
Only blocks away from Bayside High school Bell Boulevard is good to go. The houses are beautiful, the schools are great there is much for children all the way to elders to do during the spring and summer. They can go to the park for a good game of baseball or just take a nice slow stroll. There are not many hoodlums in this area and people carry themselves as they are supposed to like humans. This is one of the better areas in Queens.

Springfield Blvd
"I love this area"
Even though some of the homes and apartments are a bit old surrounding this area it is not that bad of a place to be around. The people stay to themselves and even though there is a small amount of crime it is not as bad as other places. You can walk a bit safer when you walk around here. The buses are very close so it makes it easy to get to school or work, overall it's a o.k place.

Jamaica Ave
"Dollar cab central"
When I think of Jamaica Ave i think of all the shops selling imitation everything but the one thing that mostly comes to mind is the dollar cabs. Even though they are not a dollar any more because of the price of gas going up over the years they serve as a fast alternative to talking the bus if you need to get some where fast. Jamiaca ave serves mainly for transport and for shopping.

Hillside Ave
"Still is good to go"
Hillside where my elementary school p.s 135 stands. Whenever I think of Hillside the one thing that comes to my mind is the local famous Gabby's pizza. They have all the great iltalian food that you would expect from a top flight restaurant, just about anyone in this Queens area has gone into this shop look it up and see the pictures on the walls. From Hillside you can get to any where either through access to the train or to the city bus, good place to live if your starting out.

"Use to be great"
This street was so awesome about 15 years ago. There were many block parties and block parties and many young children running around doing it up how they are supposed to, it was great. Now in this current time it still looks about the same but all the allure has gone away and all that remains is drug dealers and local hoods, too bad this once great place now looks like a empty town.

"The sun does not shine here"
If you want something similar to the feel of the movie "Warriors" I would recommend this street to visit or pass by. Here is where you can find empty streets and stray dogs rumaging through the trash. The only time people come out of their homes is on week nights when the local bar is open and the street is filled with loud noises from drunks and loud music being played. I would not recommend this area to live in or even visit.
2nd Pl
"Has great potential"
This area has alot of potential but really needs to be cleared out and rebuilt first. I wish I had millions just to help communities out I would most definately buy a few of the wonderful buildings there and renovate all the insides and make this into another community similar to the SOHO area well we will see what happens if I win the lotto. Still a ok place to go but like I said need some TLC.

West 33rd St
"Please do not go there"
As I said in the title please do not go there unless you really have some important business to take care of in that area. This is a very run down section in brooklyn that in my opinion needs to be broken down cleared and built up and rid of all the drug dealers and drug users. Use extreme caution when visiting this area and keep to yourself.
Surf Ave
"Fun Packed Area"
Here on Surf Avenue you will find many adventures waiting to be unfolded. The famous New York Aquarium is located on Surf Avenue And West 8th Street directly across from the infamous Coney Island Theme Park. The New York Aquarium is a great family attraction for people who live here and those visiting. Come and see the great Sea Creatures and learn about them and their habitat.

Crescent St
"Full of people"
This is one of those places that matches with what people typically think of over cramped areas in brooklyn. There are connecting apartments all the way down the many blocks. The good thing is that once you walk out to the main street the train is easily accessable and there are many places to eat and to shop so if your used to these living conditions it should not be a big deal.

"Great place to eat"
In this area it is filled with all the shops needed to fulfill your appetite. Just blocks away all within a 1 mile radius you can find all of my favorite placeds to eat, from chinese take-out, best pizza in brooklyn, to the local mom and pops corner store which makes the morning happy with a bagel and coffee this area is an excellent place to get your filling for the day.

"Looking for a thrill"
If your young and into the scene of art, music and skateboarding and everything that comes with that this is a good place to visit or even live in. You will most likely be living with some room mates but it will call for good times. You and your buddies will always have something to do especially if you hit up the skate shop that has an actual half pipe inside of it nothing else will get you the feeling of the young skater artist like this street will. So if that's what your looking for you might find it here.

"Good Quiet Place"
This is a great quiet place to visit or even look into living in. There are many little shops and restaurants that surround the area with a very much touch of brooklyn. Nice people, nice homes and a park down the street for the whole family to attend. There is a skate park in the owls head park which any adventurous person can go out and try to hit up. Good environment to be in.

"Old taste of home"
This is a great place to go out and have your new york experience, Makes me feel like I still reside in New York everytime I go there it brings back alot of memmories. You can hit up the local bars and pool halls or just go and have a pizza while living the life of a struggling college art major trying to break out into the real world. Excellent place to get that good old New york vibe.

"The best restaurant in the world"
If your out for a night on the town and are wanting to do the dinner and a movie thing I strongly recommend going to the Falls Mall on Howard drive and South Dixie highway. You can first start off with a stroll or a day of shopping in the mall afterwards you can have dinner at the many restaurants in the surrounding area but my personal favorite is Benihana's with their excellent service wonderful entertainment and great food you cannot go wrong there. End the day off with a movie and head home for the end of a great day.

"Great Family Fun"
I really recommend everyone to visit the metro zoo on sw 152 st and sw 124th ave from couples, families even lonely people should go now. It is much fun with shows, you can feed the animals and more if your a animal lover you will love it. Afterwards there are a few excellent restaurants located within one mile of the gates so it is a full fun packed well put together day.

Northwest 7th St
"Good for grown fun"
If your out and about and want a place to go while searching to supply your life with thrill and chances, I suggest you go to the dog track on NW 7th street and NW 37th ave. I would suggest having something to eat at the many shops and restaurants that surrond the track being that they will of course charge more than usual inside. All in all it is fun and a blast to use some cash or win some.

Airport Expy
"Easy way to fly"
This is the best and easy way to fly with its many hotels very close to the airport. It has the typical congestion of vehicles and people during working hours but is a great place to go the day before any major flight to relax and prepare yourself for your voyage. It also has many restaurants and shops close to it so you can pick something up for your family and loved ones before your arrive in the next city or country. Happy travels.

Dixie Hwy
"Great Shopping and eating experience"
S Federal highway and Carribean Blvd is where you will find the southland mall. It is a great place to go pick up anything you need from birthday gifts or just a good pick me up purchase to make up for a bad day. After your done shopping they have a few good places to eat espeially this Itlaian restaurant with a great lunch special. This is even a good place for a first date being that it has a movie theatre in it. The only bad thing is after school hours on a friday or later during the weekend all the ghetto kids come here because they have no where else to go and they run around like animals besides that it is a great place to go and I highly recommend it as long as it's not during the hoodlum hours.

"SW 137th Ave and 176th Street Hooah!!"
I am a former MARINE myself Hoorah!!! so I would never ever even think twice about this, This street holds a good opportunity for all you people looking for a trade or a job or a sense of belonging. It holds a Army Reserve base which I am pretty sure if you went there they would be more then happy to enlist you as a private in the Armed Forces. If your looking for 3 sqaure meals a day and a check on the 1st and the 15th and a sense of being proud of yourself while learning something for life go check them out at the Army reserve base and sign up.

"Monkey Jungle Trip"
I went on this trip on the morning of my wedding day with my father, mother, brother and his girlfriend. The area in which Monkey jungle is located is not really that great by my standards it is pretty ghetto with the typical hoodlums hanging out at the little stores. It all changes when you get to the actual park you forget all about that when you enter, it transforms into a rainforest type exploration where the Apes and Monkeys roam free next and over you because the park is made like a series of cages tunnels where they will not be able to have actual contact unless little jimmy pockes his finger through the gate. I reccomend this place for any family to go especially if they love animals.

"Not That Great"
I recommend this area to live in for people who are trying to come up in the world and start off their life. Those who have jobs and go to school or even those who work two jobs. Good place to live around because it is cheap but as long as your not planning on staying for a long time. It is kind of ghetto. I would not recommend it for people with a family especially young kids.

Gulfstream Rd
""Nice Quiet neighborhood""
This Street is home to the Gulf Stream elementary school, which my son attends. This is a nice little quiet neighborhood which follows strict school zone rules during school hours. You can always say hi to the crossing guards in the mornings and afternoons. If your looking for a good place to live they have a few houses for sale near this street good place for people with kids since you would be able to walk to the school and they have a great staff.
