"Aging and quiet"

Walking distance to an Elementary school and a pretty peaceful street, however there are some homes in the general neighborhood that are a little run down. The neighborhood was build in or around 1962 and many people still live on the street that originally purchased the homes. For families with young really young children there won't be too many kids to hang out with and grow up with. For the most part the neighborhood is quiet, but you get your occassional teenager racing his noisy car down the street or adjacent streets. It would be a great neighborhood if there was an infusion of younger couples who would revive the homes a little (which is what we have done with ours).

The prices have been fairly strong over the last couple years and I anticipate they will stay pretty good as the neighborhood is pretty central in the Salt Lake Valley. The older people keep their yards up nicely, but there are a few younger families that don't care as much (hope no one is saying that about me).

I sort of like the neighborhood, but I would definitely suggest spending a little time there before jumping into a home to make sure it is right for you.
