"Nothin' but a quiet little neighborhood."

I have a friend that lives in a house with his family on Colusa Way. Very small street in the heart of nice little neighborhood. It is very quiet with nice kept homes and mature landscaping. Close to lots of shopping such as Lucy's grocery, Safeway grocery store, the Westgate shopping mall that has Nordstrom's Rack, Old Navy and others, Orchard supply hardware, movie theatres, Panda express (chinese food). Great place for anyone one to live. Highly recommended.

"Small street near Nordstrom's Rack"

Atherton Ave is a very small street. I am usually on this street going to my Chiropractor, Dr. Scott Waddell or heading to Nordstrom's Rack to do some clothes or shoe shopping. The street seems to be fairly quiet. On the north east side of the street you will find all apartments except for the one office building that has my Chiropractor in it. On the other side of the street is the Westgate Mall where you will find Nordstrom's Rack. I don't think too many people go to the shopping center through Atherton because it is such a small street. Most people go into the shopping center off of Saratoga Ave. or Hamilton Ave.

"Shopping only, would not live on this street"

There are quite a few shopping placing along Coleman ave. I live on a street really close to Coleman and there is a big shopping center on Coleman that has a bunch of nice places to shop, such as Target, Payless shoes, World Market, Marshalls. and others. If you head further north on Coleman there will be a Costco. There are also many restaurants on Coleman, such as Chilis, Panera bread, Chevy's, and a nice Barbecue place called L & L Hawaiian. I wouldn't recommend living on this street considering the airport parallels Coleman and the planes I'm sure would be quite loud.

"Neat street shopping"

My wife and I have spent a good few hours walking down this street. It has tons of little shops and restaurants. There are coffee shops and little boutiques, there is a nice Italian restaurant called Vin Santo and a nice pizza place called Pizza My Heart. The Willow Glen neighborhood is a very nice quiet place to live, especially in such a big city. They even have a little farmers market in a parking lot just off this street.

"Perfect palce to live"

I'm usually on cherry street once a week. My church is located on that street and it is a very quiet street. Mature trees and landscaping everywhere. The homes are good sized homes. I mostly seen retired people and families on this street. There seems to be lots of nice small little shops nearby that you could walk to. I have also been to a small farmers market that they have in the area just off Lincoln Ave.

"Busy and Noisy"

I'm usually on Parkmoor heading to the Foodmax to do some grocery shopping or picking up a movie at the Redbox. Parkmoor runs parallel to the freeway so I'm not sure it would be that quiet of a place to live. I believe there is public transportation near by since the train runs right throught the intersection of Parkmoor and Race street.

"Shopping on West San Carlos St."

I'm usually on San Carlos St. when I need to get my car washed, fixed, or head to Safeway for groceries. There is a nice little car wash place on Montgomery St and West San Carlos St. I also take my car to a mechanical shop on San Carlos. The mechanic shop is call Precision Tune Auto Care and it's right across from the Safeway. There is a Wallgreens across from Safeway as well.

"Happening Downtown Street"

The office I work at is located on this street. It is right downtown San Jose. There are plenty of nice restaurants down Santa Clara street. One fairly famous place is the Britannia Arms, which I believe is or once was owned by a player of the San Jose Sharks hockey team. There is also a Togos and Starbucks coffee shop.

"Very quiet street, great for anyone to live on."

Bassett street is a pretty quiet street. There is the occasional train, however, that goes by, but I don’t remember hearing much of the train or even seeing the train. This is a very short street so there is nothing on this street other than apartment complexes, townhomes and some office buildings. Bassett street does run into 1st street and there is public transportation there.

"Nice place to live if you want to be close to downtown"

North 1st street is a fairly busy street. There is a train on 1st street so public transportation is right in your back yard. My review may be a bit skewed considering I’m a family guy so I don’t go out to night clubs or bars and I’m strapped for cash so I don’t eat out very often. When I do eat out, there is a nice variety of restaurants.
