Westchester avenue host a number of food stores. It is like your average busy Bronx street. The street is mixed with commercial and residential areas. Plenty of mini grocery stores, and drug stores reside on this block. There is a lot of traffic on this street so be aware of that. There is also a really good flower shop on this street Anthony's, that arranges a number of florals. Wide access to a variety of things and places on this westchester and this is key when it comes to urban living.

Arthur ave is a solid street located in the Italian-American section of the Bronx. There are some really excellent shops on this block. I go here to buy children's shoes that are direct from Italy. The shoe store Ralphs also sells women and men italian shoes. They carry many Piedini brand shoes. If you're looking for one of a kind baby and childrens's shoes; please come here!. The customer service in this store is superb! They really care about your needs! Arthur ave is not too far from Fordham University, so you will see young, hip college students around these parts

Good street in Bronx Heights community. I used to come here to take my child to a headstart program. The block is nice and quiet. There are a few churches on this street. There is one pizza shop that stood out to me on featherbed. Try the Parmesan chicken pizza. The prices are cheap and you definitely won't spend a killing!

Nice street upon visiting to see a relative. The neighborhood seemed to be estranged. There were at times a few people walking but I didn't too many. It is within close proximity to co-op city. There weren't too many shops and food places around. Stick to a busier street like third ave or fordham rd for sights and shopping.

Lives up to it's name. Gunhill road can be dangerous at night. There are many wanderers and strange sights in evening times. With that being said I would give this street 3 stars because it is a great local area to do shopping without having to travel miles to go to a large mall. If you're hungry you will not leave this street that way. There are many Jamaican restaurants, pizza shops and fast food restaurants such as McDonald's and KFC here

This street isn't the craziest street to be on. I would say it is a great street to wander along on. There is a Jewish temple is you are looking for a place of worship and an early childhood center that caters to children ages 1-4. There are also your usual apartment buildings and private houses in the area.

I have a friend that lives on conner street that I always visit. This is one of the streets that is apart of Co-op city. The buildings are huge and there are a number of residents in the community. Parking is extremely hard to find as it is always busy in this vicinity. There a quite a few senior citizens who live here. Every time I'd see a resident of the building they'd say hello to me. I would say it is a great place for urban living and if you want to be around friendly folk!
