East Elm St
"Great Street right near a school"
About three street down from Central High school. Great place for families of all sizes with all numbers of kids. Houses are cute and clean. However, because of their close proximity to the school, it seems that most houses are a little more expensive that comparable homes in other areas. Homes are close enough that you won't have any problems meeting the neighbors, but they are far enough away that you will have the privacy you may want.

"Beautiful House Behind Golf Course"
Beautiful large houses that are just as gorgeous as the gold course it sits behind. These houses are great for families with kids both big and small. They are probably not so good for singles, as you'll find the only real way to meet people is through schools. Also, the houses are awfully large for singles. It seems that there are lots of kids here so if you are a retiree, you may not find the peace and quiet you're looking for here.

"Large beautiful houses"
This street is lined with beautiful large houses. However, it seems that it is very hard to meet the neighbors around because many are working professionals with children old enough to take care of themselves. However, if you fit into this category as well, this might be the perfect place. The houses are large enough for a growing family and are certainly comfortable and well-kept/manicured.

"Great for Singles"
This is a great place for singles and people who are interested in living close to a city, but not actually in one (or not in an apartment, but a home). the houses are not too big but are perfectly situated. All the homes are near great dining and shopping, but are far enough away that it doesn't really feel like living in a city.

"Not very friendly, but pretty houses"
Seems like kind of a cold neighborhood, with not too much neighbor interaction. However, the houses are gorgeous. The schools look pretty and it's probably a great neighborhood for high school students who can socialize on their own. As far as starter homes for new (growing) families, it might nto be too easy to get to know people.

"Nice starter homes"
The homes here are a great size for a couple or a 1 child family. They are not small, but could not house a large family. the price of home is reasonable and it's good for a first. the neighborhood is friendly and welcoming and the schools are gorgeous. The neighborhood is pretty large and I imagine there are plenty of younger kids.

"Great Family neighborhood"
This neighborhood is fantastic, I absolutely loved it! There were plenty of kids my age to hang around with, it was close enough to downtown that there was always stuff to do, but far away enough that there was plenty of quiet when I wanted it. The houses are gorgeous and well-kept and the street is well-cared for, always clean. Best for families or couples, not really singles.

"Great for anybody"
Had family who lived on this road. It's absolutely beautiful! It's always clean and has a wonderful familial feel. The neighbors are friendly and are always anxious to meet newcomers. they are very welcoming. There are a ton of basketball hoops and bikes in the driveways, so I assume there are plenty of kids for the younger residents to play with.

"Great starter family house"
This street is fantastic for young couples. It's very close to the city and so it's just a short walk or ride to all the best dining and shopping that Phoenix has to offer. Neighbors are very friendly and are often found outside playing with their kids. It's a wonderful place for a new family to get settled and start their lives.

"Great place for a single 20 something"
You will probably only find apartments in this area and it definitely has an inner city feel to it. Not a great place to raise a family, but perfect if you're on your own and want to be near restaurants and other businesses, but not too close. Great little cafe on the corner of East Madison and South Central Ave.
