West 5th St
"West 5th Street"
All around the block, same song. This street in Brooklyn is a wonderful one, offering many of the same amenities as the streets nearby. You won’t find a whole lot of interest, save for a few service oriented stores and a lot of housing. I liked this street because of the pace and felt that it was clean. The accessibility is also a major plus, and something worth considering if you are thinking of moving to the city.
Transit: In this neighborhood, the F train runs along McDonald Avenue, with stops conveniently located at McDonald Avenue and Kings Highway and the N train at West 7th Avenue and Kings Highway, as well as at Avenue U and West 8th Avenue, not to mention the F train again at McDonald Avenue and Avenue U, keeping this neighborhood very easily accessible.
