From a parent's view, how are the schools in Westminster?

Haven't had kids in school for a number of years now but with the new statewide school testing it is very easy right now to see which schools are performing and which are not. Seems like it's a combination of the right teachers and involved parents that make the good schools really great. Schools scores and ranking are available on state web site.
