How walkable is the Westwood Park neighborhood in San Francisco?

The Westwood Park neighborhood in San Francisco is pretty walkable, so long as you don't mind going up and down hills and don't mind shopping in corner grocery stores and that kind of thing. There is not a great selection of say restaurants and such to got to on this part of town but public transportation is so good here that it is pretty simple heading into the city.
