"Great for Nightlife and a Convenient Commute"
Located North of Hwy 59, between the 610 Loop and Sam Houston Tollway is where you will discover Woodlake and Briar Meadow. This established area of Houston is nestled among Richmond Ave and Westheimer Rd. This is a prime Houston area location, known for its atmosphere. There is ample shopping, dining, and nightlife with a Starbucks on every major corner. The majority of Houston employers commute to the nearby Galleria area, which can cause traffic and congestion at peak travel times during the week.
Close to Midtown & Downtown Houston, Woodlake is the perfect spot for singles and young couples. This is one of the best areas of Houston for nightlife, and is home to many of the famous bars and clubs. Being close to Memorial Park you will find setback areas filled with joggers, dog walkers, and even fitness boot camp groups. There are a vast amount of major employers in the area since it is close to The Galleria. Grade school students residing in this area will attend HISD schools, which tend to have a bad reputation, but there are a variety of private schools to choose from.
