Woodlawn, Chicago - good public transportation options?

Woodlawn is not a very safe area, and I would not want to stand in line waiting for a bus here. You should be fine, but honestly, I'd rather be driving as fast as possible OUT of Woodlawn.

You'll have access to the Green Line and a couple of bus lines (3, 63), so public transportation is pretty good in Woodlawn.
