"Large lots with friendly neighbors"
This quiet neighborhood in Andover, MN is bordered by Round Lake to the East, a nature park with trails to the north and wildlife throughout. As you drive into the area you will notice the mature folliage and well groomed lawns. It is not uncommon to see deer, fox or a variety of water fowl in your back yard. It is a slice of the north woods with all the advantages of suburban living.
The custom homes in this neighborhood were primarily built in the mid to late 70's with many of the original owners still occupying them. There has been a recent influx of families into this area however due to the close proximity of schools at every age level. The 5+ acre lots allow space for gardening, swimming pools, tennis or volleyball courts, extra garages/pull barns (the list is really limited only to ones imagination) and especially bigger homes.
The street has access to two main county roads. The closest and directly accessible county road, 7th Avenue, will lead you to a main highway (Hwy 10) which is a direct route into the Minneapolis metroplitan area, aproximately 25 miles away.
All types of shopping (food, clothes, autos, etc...) is just minutes away. A new shopping center (Riverdale) was developed over the last decade which is host to major department stores, chain conveniences as well as unique gift shops.
Muliple recreation facilities and/or healthclubs are also just minutes away but the best recreation can be found out your front door. It is a very busy street for walkers, bikers and joggers!
