164th St
"great schools for middle income families"
on this street you can find special need schools ranging from early child hood to adolescent. queens general city hospital is right across the streeet from the facility. going the rest of the way south is all residencial and going towards jamaica is not so good but not bad either. the intersecting street /union turnpike is a great strip for college bars and grocery shopping. St johns university is several blocks away so you do see the young crowds.

"On 164th Street"
This street is something like playing Monopoly. There is a hospital, a school, a post office, and other very practical services, make 164th street a very convenient place to handle business and to lie nearby. Though I wasn’t impressed with a few of the housing options offered on this street, I was with the ease of finding my way around. I do think it would be much easier (and a bit safer) to have a ca if living in this area. All in all, I would say that this is a good place to live in Queens.
