"Not Your Typical Menlo Park"
I came here once for a Craigslist purchase, and this street feels more East Palo Alto than Menlo Park (no judgment placed, but this is a far cry from Sand Hill Road). The homes are small and seem somewhat cramped, and the whole street seemed a bit unkempt. Parking is a challenge given the abundance of cars, although it is not quite as bad as its eastern neighbor.
This is not a place to experience Silicon Valley luxury, but one can enjoy a Menlo Park address without the Menlo Park price tag (the proximity to North Fair Oaks accounts for the dichotomy). Traffic is not as horrific as it is in some of the nearby streets, but you do need to drive to either El Camino Real or the 101 in order to get anywhere.
