65th St
"Quiet area in the mist of traffic"
This area is known for it's Italian neighborhood back about 30 years ago. Now, it's more of a mixture of every ethnicity you can imagine. The best part about this area is that you can walk about 20 mins and pretty much taste about 20 different types of culture. The parking isn't terrible but you really have to lock what we in NY call it "The Club" on top of your steering wheel to prevent anyone that's looking for a joy ride. I personally like the cheap rent and if your living single and don't want to cook at night, simply walk 2 mins and get something to eat. The train is a walk though so this area is better for people that drives. At night it can be a bit chilly and spooky walking around this neighborhood. I would recommend single or couples living around this area, not the best area to raise a family or retire in.

"West 4th Street"
West Fourth Street in Brooklyn, New York is very nice and filled with the common amenities of the streets nearby. I liked this area of the city, and the people here. On this particular street, you’ll find many nice amenities and things to do, as well as a nice pace. This street is vert easily accessible, which is a benefit for someone looking to work in the city and commute. All in all, this is a great street in a nice neighborhood in Brooklyn.
Transit: In this neighborhood, the F train runs along McDonald Avenue, with stops conveniently located at McDonald Avenue and Kings Highway and the N train at West 7th Avenue and Kings Highway, as well as at Avenue U and West 8th Avenue, not to mention the F train again at McDonald Avenue and Avenue U, keeping this neighborhood very easily accessible.
