On 91st Avenue, you will find several small businesses ranging from a career center to a Police Station. There are churches as well. The nearest restaurants are on nearby Jamaica Avenue, which has most of the traffic. This street was not quiet, and with heavier traffic on the weekend, it seems like it may a little hectic for most. With tiny apartments, many people in the city like to be outside as much as possible, so you'll find people doing an array of things on the street. All in all, this is one of the livelier streets in Queens.
