"A must go destination for summer fun"
Ever summer the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa transforms into one of Orange County’s most anticipated events, the O.C. Fair. Located on Fairview Rd. between Fair Dr. and Arlington Dr., the fairgrounds is one of the best places to visit in the summer time. My family and I try to make it down there at least once every year. True to any fair’s standards you will find all the fried foods, dipped foods, barbequed foods, rides, shows and entertainment you can imagine. Just this past August we went to catch a show at the grounds Pacific Amphitheatre and it was great. The seating wasn’t too bad even if you had tickets in the last row which was nice. Next time the fair comes around make sure to pack up the kids or round up your friends and head over to see what you can get into at the Orange County Fairgrounds. Word to the wise, be prepared for lots and lots of traffic and huge crowds. Streets are narrowed, blocked off or strategically maneuvered into trying to make the traffic surrounding the fair run smoothly. It’s useful if you’re one of the many guests attending the events here but if you aren’t Fairview Rd. might want to be a street to avoid during fair season.
