"Newer Community With A Lot of Potential"
Arlington Estates is located in a neighborhood that is easy to walk in. The neighborhood is popular with walkers and joggers. It is located near major highways like I-85 and I-285. The average price on homes is $182,000 and taxes range from $2,000 and up yearly.
Nearby are many parks to enjoy like Sweetwater Creek State Park, John A. White Park, Adams Park, Grant Park, and Greenbriar Tampa Park. With so many parks there are plenty of activities for children and adults like walking, roller skating, biking, and more. These parks give this area a high walking score. Arlington Estates has churches of many denominations for residents to attend. There are public and private schools for children to attend.
You can shop nearby at the new Camp Creek Pkwy shopping centers and enjoy movies at the Plaza Theater. In the region you can visit the World of Coca Cola to see how soda is manufactured. The Georgia Aquarium is nearby for adults and children to enjoy. There are museums, art galleries, theaters, historical museums, sports, restaurants and book stores. Arlington Estates located in Atlanta, Georgia is a diverse community worth exploring and visiting.

"Affordable living and ...."
Arlington Estates is a small subdivision community located along Campbellton Rd on the south side of Atlanta. The neighborhood borders Ben Hill, Greenbriar and Camp Creek Communities. Like many of its neighboring communities, Arlington Estates features inexpensive real estate and a lack of amenities for its residents. The Highlight of activities for this area is the Greenbriar shoping mall. This mall is one of the oldest in Atlanta and has had very little renovations since its opening in the late 1960s. In many ways, the community of Arlington Estates is a reflection of this neglect. Many of the homes have lost their value and have since become rental properties. There are not many young professionals and young homeowners in this area because of the lack of employment options.
The only positive perk that I can describe for this area is its proximity to Hartsfield-Jackson International airport. Arlington Estates is located about 2 miles away from one of the busiest airports in the country. Outside of this fact, I cannot find any other reason why anyone would want to settle in this area. It stands as a relic to the days when Atlanta over developed residential areas and neglected building the type of of infrastructure required to sustain them.

"Off the Beaten Path"
Arlington Estates is a great neighborhood on the southside of Atlanta that is off the beaten path but a nice neighborhood none the less. The subdivision is relatively new, 5 years or less, for the most part. The homes are nicely maintained and you can tell the neighbors take pride in where they live. Just as the homes are relatively new, so are the schools in the area.
The only real pests are those that come from the woods around the neighborhood including plenty of deer, opossums, foxes and the occasional coyote. Because Arlington Estates is off the beaten path, traffic is not as bad as in most places.
Residents of Arlington Estates have the benefit of childcare within most of the subdivisions as well as some recreational offerings. If there are to be negatives or cons associated with the neighborhood is that it is a little far from major interstates and major retail shopping.
