"By the sea"
First things first: if you're driving this street, you probably don't have the best opinion of it. You're also cheating yourself out of some great sights. It may not look like much down in the South Station area. But take a few hundred paces north, and you'll start appreciating the beauty that Atlantic Ave. is hiding away. Your neck will hurt from trying to drink in all there is to see! You have three of the best views of Boston Harbor in Rowes Wharf, Long Wharf, and Columbus Park. And on the other side of the street, right on top of I-93, is a green piece of recent Boston history: the lush Rose Kennedy Greenway. Add in great nearby dining options and attractions, and nearby Quincy Market, and you have a street that can also be an experience, whether you're a visitor or a lifelong resident.

"This is What Boston is All About!"
There are some great sites in this area. First and most important, there is the N E Aquarium. Then there is Rowes Wharf where you can take boat rides across the sea. And best of all, there are terrific Italian restaurants. On the pier, just a short jump onto the Interstate, there are marvelous clubs and restaurants with, of course, delicious seafood. It is convenient to just hop on the JFK Interpass or 93. Since this is a high tourist area visited location, shopping and eating is not a problem. And don't forget about the Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park!!!!!!!!!

Atlantic Ave
"Christopher Columbus Park"
I drove Atlantic Avenue to go visit the Christopher Columbus Park. The road is a little confusing if you have never driven it before because it turns off to the right and is really confusing. The actual road is in good shape. The park in itself was great. It is right on the water and I spent several hours walking around taking pictures.
