"Convenient, loud, obnoxious street in Hipsterville (with easy Metro access)"
This is an awesome street to live on if you don't want to be encumbered by relationships, or are a barista in downtown Seattle, or would never think of killing the planet by owning a car, or like to go out to Thai/Mediterranean/Nepalese four times per week, or want to buy your tomatoes at a Co-Op, or desire to purchase Belle and Sebastian on vinyl only. That said… you’ll have to put up with lots of young, obnoxious hipsters who think they’re always on their own YouTube channel and believe “putting it to the man” means kicking over the no parking signs the city puts up as it demolishes old buildings to make way for condos that will never be built. Personally, I love it and will never move to the suburbs (like Ballard or something).
