"A colorful Seattle Neighborhood"
If you're looking for a neighborhood bustling with activity, Capitol Hill is a great fit. Broadway, the main drag, is home to several bars, restaurants, and shops. There is something for everyone here, from late night clubs and eateries to used bookstores, coffee houses to jogging paths. The colorful crowds make for great people-watching. Capitol Hill prides itself on its diversity and rich night life. It seems that there is always something going on, such as the much-loved Capitol Hill Block Party, showcasing popular bands from around the world. Volunteer Park boasts the Asian Art Museum and a conservatory with fascinating plants. There is always something to do and see on Capitol Hill.

"The heart of Seattle"
I love Capitol Hill. Located in the heart of the city, it's the busy, thriving cultural center of Seattle. Filled with unique restaurants and bars, arts organizations that include theater companies and dance halls, the Hill is where Seattle goes to play. It's easily accessed from anywhere in the city and living on the Hill provides easy access to anywhere in the city. It features gems like Espresso Vivace, possibly the best espresso in the country, the Oddfellows building and the numerous restaurants, bars, and dance spaces it provides, and Quinn's, recently named one of America's top gastropubs by a leading food magazine.

East Mercer St
"Something for everyone and every genre"
Capitol Hill is the part of Seattle that never goes to sleep. This dynamic neighborhood is also the most diverse in the emerald city. The residents range from the young and the restless out on their own for the first time, to established, settled seniors; many of whom have long-standing ties to the neighborhood.
Living options range from classic brick and modern condominiums to turn-of-the-century remodeled craftsman and bungalow properties. There are sprawling views over the Sound, the Olympic Mountains and jaw-dropping sunset views. For open grassy fields, go to Volunteer Park, a rollicking area that includes a reservoir with a running track, a greenhouse, an Asian art museum, a children’s play area, and a great open lawn.
Broadway, Capitol Hill’s main attraction, is one of the busiest streets in Seattle. It’s alive with restaurants, shops, cafes, salons and clubs. Capitol Hill has been dubbed the Northwest’s closest thing to Manhattan’s Upper West Side, and hosts the annual Gay and Lesbian Parade each year. The west side of Capitol Hill offers a quick shot downtown, either by bus, car or on foot. If you climb the hill to the east, a more tranquil mood is found on 15th Avenue. This Northwest section is settled with large classic Seattle homes, tree lined streets and a thriving collection of schools.
People who live in Capitol Hill have quick access to the rest of Seattle. It is centrally located around Lake Washington, Downtown, Interstate 5. Capitol Hill also offers breath taking views to the west where you can see Downtown, Elliott Bay, the Olympic Mountains, and even Bainbridge Island.
