How welcoming are the people of Beverly to those of different backgrounds?

I think Beverly is a very welcoming neighborhood, but keep in mind I'm Irish, and this is an Irish neighborhood. Of course they're welcoming to me, but I've visited with friends of different ethnicities, including my girlfriend who is half-Thai, and they've always felt very welcome, so there shouldn't be any problems.
