"Park Close By"
One of the nicer things about the Bolton HIlls community is that Lillian Cooper Shepherd Park is very close by. Having green space that readily available provides plenty of opportunities for family's to engage in, and children to participate in.
Bolton Hills is located very close to interstate 285. That can be a blessing and a curse. Access is great, particularly for those who may need to travel into the downtown area for work or out to the southside for other activities. For those of you who may not be as familiar with Atlanta and how the interstates work, 285 goes in a complete circle. Therefore many, many communities can be accessed from 285. The drawback to being located so closely to the highway is increased transitional traffic, and delays in accessing the very highway that is of such great benefit.
Not much else about Bolton Hills stands out as a community. The homes are modest, schools are fairly decent, and residents have access to public transportation and local conveniences.
