Google is considered one of the best employers anywhere and fortunately we have an office here in Boulder.

If you are considering a career in Real Estate, then the unbiased answer is RE/MAX Alliance! Friends rave about working at Google, CROCS, Qualcom, & SparkFun (to name a few), while CU is our biggest employer. Before joining me in Real Estate, my wife Erin worked at CU in career services, helping students find internships and jobs around Boulder/Denver -- she loved the working environment at CU and is friends with all her old colleagues.

The best employer...yourself! I have heard that over 40% of 'working' adults in Boulder are in some fashion self-employed. It seems that the old factory mentality is losing ground...gain some freedom lose some security. The classic employers of Boulder are the University of Colorado, the city and county of Boulder and the many science oriented government jobs at NOAA, NCAR, NIST etc...IBM is only 10 minutes towards Longmont and is still a strong employer as well as Seagate
