"A fantastic, family friendly and quite street!"
Bradford Drive is a fantastic street!
Bradford Drive has a very good mix of familes with young kids, families with older kids and retirees.
The street is very quite and has very little traffic. The neighbors all look out for each other and help support each other in difficult times.
The houses were mostly built in the early 70's. They have been kept in very good condition. The lawns are well taken care of and the street has many mature trees that really make the street stand out. The houses are very affordable and are worth the money.
The landscape is a decent mix of flat and hilly. It is really great for exercise.
There are 3 very nice parks within 1.5 miles. One park with swimming pool is only a few blocks away.
There are only 2 downsides to living here.
1. the Little Rock school system is barely average. About half the kids on Bradford Drive are either home schooled or go to private school. To be honest, a majority of the middle class and upper class kids in Little Rock go to private schools or are home schooled.
2. Religion. There are many religious fundies in the South in general, so anywhere you go, you will find their intolerance (That is anywhere, not just Bradford Drive).
