Bradford Pl
"Quiet, friendly cul-de-sac street in an established neighborhood."
Towne Lake is one of east Montgomery's premier midrange to higher priced communities, with custom homes often featuring more lavish upgrades as well as its home owners being privilaged to special "perks" associated with owning a Towne Lake home
Pricing
Home prices generally start from around $250,000 for patio homes and reach
as high as $565,000 for single family residences. The average for sale price is
around $350,000 for the neighborhood, or roughly $120 to $125 per sqft.
Location and Convenience
Towne Lake is conveniently located (from I-85 Mitylene exit 11) and provides quick, easy access to both professional business and retail shopping on the fast-growing side of east Montgomery, as well as direct access to Auburn, Atlanta, or downtown Montgomery via Interstate 85.
South of I -85 you will find The Shoppes at EastChase, an outdoor "mall" with plazas, fountains, street lights, lush landscaping and bronze sculpture. The shopping center has a small town feel and includes many nationally known upscale retailers.
Down Chantilly Parkway, just south of Towne Lake and east of East Chase, there are banks, grocery stores, a Home Depot, Super Wal-Mart, and Costco.
The Alabama Shakespeare Festival,
the sixth largest Shakespeare festival in the world,
attracts more than 300,000 annual visitors from all over the world and
is just minutes away.
Located in the Blount Cultural Park is also the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts.
History
As the Montgomery population continues to grow, there has been an explosive expansion and migration both North to Autauga and Elmore counties, as well as Montgomerians moving East.
Development of Towne Lake began in the late 80's and early 90's - almost as a newer extension of the very popular East Montgomery subdivision of Arrowhead,
but make no mistake,
Towne Lake residents are achievers in a class of their own making and the neighborhood homes reflect this.
The Towne Lake subdivision was developed in several stages or plats.
Each plat may have its own set of restrictive covenants, association dues etc.
AND...
What good is having a lake in your neighborhood without fishing privilages?
Where your home is located within Towne Lake also may determine which of the stocked lakes are available to you and your guests for fishing.
