"Burgeoning Street with Something for Everyone!!"
From high dollar fine cuisine to local hole-in-the-wall restaurants, Broadway has it all. With the Zoo, Botanical Gardens and Brackenridge Park along it, Broadway is a place to escape from the rush of life and enjoy nature. It has great little shops too.

"Shopping, nightlife, restaurants, parks, and great education"
Broadway is one of San Antonio’s main thoroughfares and hosts the prestigious Alamo Heights High School as well as Incarnate Word University. Some of San Antonio’s finest dining can be found on or within a block of Broadway, as well of some of San Antonio’s finest living. At the corner of Broadway and Hildebrand, a brand new VERY high-class high-rise condo tower is being constructed, and not far down the road is the beautiful Brackenridge Park.

Broadway
"Nice, Upscale Area"
Broadway street is in a nice, but expensive, part of town. It has many residential areas and some commercial ones; there is a nice park and it borders the San Antonio Zoo. It also has the added bonus of being close to down town without actually living there and traffic is moderate. This area is close to The Quarry, a great place for shopping, eating and watching movies. Also, The Quarry has a HUGE Border's bookstore, a big plus! This area of town caters more toward the single and families without children - those looking for more of a nightlife.

"Nice street near park"
Broadway Street in San Antonio is a fairly long street with some residential sections and some commercial areas. It borders Breckenridge Park, which has pedal boats, a golf course and is home to the San Antonio Zoo. This is a great place to live near and take the kids after school or on weekends.

Broadway
"A very hip place to be - if you can afford it"
This is an upscale part of town, but very cute! Lots of little shops and restaurants, and cute older renovated houses. Very close to downtown without being swallowed by downtown. You'll find Central Market for gourmet organic groceries and you are close to the Quarry shopping center, which has a movie theater, bookstores, and lots of upscale home and clothing stores. There are all sorts of little shops and restaurants to discover. Plus you are close to beautiful Brackenridge Park. Singles will find a decent nightlife here, as well.

Broadway
"Broadway, home of Incarnate Word etc"
Broadway is a big road, as the name suggests, that runs North-South. The original Earl Abel's restaurant used to be located at the corner of Hildebrand and Broadway, across from Incarnate Word College, now pompously known at The University of The Incarnate Word. But sadly, Earl Abel's is no more, the restaurant having been razed in 2006 to make way for condos. Back in the eighties SA congressman Henry B. Gonzalez, who famously tried to impeach Ronald Reagan, encountered an op-ed guy from the local paper at Earl Abel's and demanded he apologize for calling him a communist. When he didn't he decked him. To be fair, Earl Abel's has a new location on Austin Highway, albeit without authentic Populuxe architecture from 1940. But the original Pig Stand Diner is still on B'way a few blocks to the south.
