Burt Rd
"Mostly residential, best part of street north of Six Mile"
Burt Road is in Northwest Detroit, running from Tireman Street north to Eight Mile Road, with some left and right turns required to stay on this street. This street is approximately 7 miles long and runs directly past Rouge Park and the Rouge Golf Course, the golf course now closed.
From Tireman Avenue to Schoolcraft Street tghere are no homes on the west side of tthe street as most of that side is Rouge Park or various business as one nears Schoolcraft and the I-96 Freeway.
In the warm months, one can go to Rouge Park for outdoor grilling, baseball/football games at the many open areas and often times, there are model plane enthusiasts flying near the area of Tireman & Burt Roads, where they have there own lockers and flying field area.
Not a safe street at night, rather busy traffic near the main streets.
