What important events occured in Canaryville?

Harold Washington Cultural center is located on 47th & King Drive in Bronzeville, not Canaryville!! Please get your facts straight!!

I don't head to Canaryville very often, as it's on the South Side and there's not a ton to do there. That said, the Harold Washington Cultural Center provides a fair number of activities to choose from, adding a whole lot to the neighborhood. There's a fair degree of community outreach, and some very interesting shows to take in. It's definitely worth checking out, with some shows you won't see very many other places, as well as some shows, like a High School Musical one, that are more common and popular.
