"Don't Miss Cannery Row when in Monterey"
Cannery Row is a cute little street right by the ocean, made famous by John Steinbeck novel of the same name where he writes about people working in sardine fisheries during the great depression. Today, these sardine fisheries are all transformed into shops, restaurants and bars that attract many tourists and residents alike. A very nice hotel has been opened recently, the InterContinental The Clement Monterey, where they serve delicious food right on the terrace overlooking the beautiful Pacific. When in Cannery Row don’t miss the magical Monterey Bay Aquarium.
