"Apartment Community"
Castor Drive, located on the southside of Atlanta, is primarily an apartment community with many single family residencies nearby. There are some great apartment communities and then there are some not so great apartment communities. Well, Castor Drive kind of falls in the murky middle.
Simply by the nature of the neighborhood, there is increased traffic, increased noise level, and increased transitory activity; which does not bode well for those who like it quiet and serene. The apartments are maintained to a certain degree, but I guess it may be kind of hard for some to take pride in something they do not own.
Public transportation is easily accessible to the residents of Castor Drive, and there are decent schools nearby. But if your looking for clean and serene, this is not the place for you.
