Cherry St, Greenpoint

it's in a noisy industrial area that goes right along the Brooklyn Queens Expressway. Very little residential housing, most of the street tenants are businesses like car repair and a hardware shop. The positive thing is that it’s right next to the highway which makes it very convenient to get in and out quickly from the highway to the street.

Cherry Street, which runs adjacent to the BQE, is a mainly industrial business street, housing such things as a hardware store, a flower shop, and a small array of service oriented businesses. I must say that I’ve visited more “hopping” Cherry Streets in my day, and I don’t think it’s worth a trip. There’s also not much for living options. All in all, this is a service oriented street, without a whole lot going on.
