"Fake Short Cut"
Kirker Pass starts in Concord at Olive where Ygnacio Valley Storage is. Kirker Pass is supposedly a short cut for commuters from Antioch and Pittsburgh who want to avoid the hell which Highway 4 is during commute hours. Its really not much of a shortcut, however. At this early stage, Kirker Pass is a wide, fast-moving residential street with a tree-lined center meridian. Just after the Crossroads Church of the Covenant things start to change however. Just after the Sleep Train Pavilion things get very barren as you head up into the hills. This is the supposed short cut, but you won’t really save much time unless there is a crash on Highway 4.
Pros
- Some Nice Houses
- Grassy
Cons
- Not a Short Cut
- Traffic
- Very Underdeveloped
