Is there any place to swim in Cold Spring?

Fahnestock State Park has a public beach and lifeguards. Stony Point is at the north end of Cold Spring and looks out to Storm King Mountain. My children and their friends have always swam in the Hudson River without incident. They are all grown and still use the River to cool down in the summer.
