College St
"Great place to exercise"
If you’re into endurance training then pounding around on College Street can be a great way to work off some of that flab brought on by living the good life in New York. Theres quite an extensive hill on the street which is also good for building some strength and the street is rather windy which can add an extra dimension to your run. Not everyone wants to go to a fancy gym or perhaps you don’t have the time on holiday but if you are looking for a good running route with some twists to keep it interesting, try and add College Street to your route

"You have to be part mountain goat to get up the hill the street is on"
This street is built on a hill that makes anything Schlitterbahn Waterparks or Six Flags over Texas has look like a kiddy ride. Of course when you get to the top of the hill, you have reached what some consider heaven itself. The road leads directly to and through the campus of Elim Bible Institute, a charismatic training school for young ministers and missionaries.
Regardless of the time of year, there is always a cross wind blowing on this street. Don’t wear a dress if you are planning on walking the street or you will end up with it over year head - personal experience speaking here.
In the winter, this street can be a nightmare to get up or down. The ice-cover on it would make even the best skating rinks blush. Thankfully the town and school are quick to make good efforts of cleaning the road. Only one other warning: You won’t get more than twenty feet on this road without someone wanting to tell you about your need to become a Christian. If this is offensive to you, you really might want to go down a different street. They take God very seriously.
