"A mall with a fountain and a lot of traffic"
Columbus Circle is a crazy circle on the west side of Central Park. It is always packed to the gills with people, cars, noise, trash . . you name it. It can also be quite perilous to cross due to all of the traffic, so this area can definitely raise your heart rate. There are also a lot of people catering to tourists around here so I always have to mentally prepare myself to be bombarded when I go to Columbus Circle. Oh, and the horses. Lots of those too.
There's a lovely fountain right at Columbus Circle that my friend and I jumped into one night after drinking a little too much. We probably could have been arrested but I'll count it as one of my favorite nights in New York.
There's a weird shopping center called the Time Warner Center on the west side of the circle. It also has businesses in it, which I presume include Time Warner. There are a bunch of stores (like a Sephora) and some of the most famous foodie restaurants in the city are also here. I find this equally bizarre. Masa and Per Se are counted as the most expensive restaurants in the city and they are in a shopping center? Weird. But, it doesn't seem to hurt the restaurants at all so I don't presume they plan on moving. There's also an Equinox gym (one of my least favorite ones), a Starbucks and a bunch of medical buildings surrounding the circle -- as well, as the southwest corner of Central Park. There are some terribly expensive apartments on Columbus Circle but I don't know that you could pay me to live right here. There are just way too many people and no energy feel. It's really just crawling with tourists and people trying to either get to the park or to work.

"A Hub of the Westside"
Columbus Circle is a sight to see, for certain. It acts as the midpoint between Times Square and the Lincoln Center, and stands up as a destination for tourism in its own right. The shopping in the vicinity of the place is great, which will give you a chance to admire the surrounding buildings, the nearby west side of the park, and midtown in general. As with many other great parts of the city, it changes with the seasons, in summer a bright reminder of NYC vitality, in winter a decked-out celebration of the holidays.

"Who knows what you may find?"
I’m not sure what Columbus was really looking for when he set off travelling but the Time Warner building in Columbus Circle would be beyond the dreams of most people, even in recent decades, let alone in the far and distant past. The curved front plays host to a shopping mall and traversing up the building affords a tremendous view of the local area but to be honest, the best view is from the outside looking up, such is the splendour of this building.

"Great place to shop and relax"
I love to go shopping at the Time Warner Center. Every time I go to NYC I always stop by this shopping center when I have to go to the bathroom and I'm hanging out in Central Park. I always shop and then lay out in the park afterwards. It's a great place to take pictures since the Time Warner Center is such a beautiful building.

"Historic view is at best"
Columbus Circle named after Christopher Columbus is a center of attraction in New York. It was the first major traffic circle of the United States. It has also been a major transportation hub for quite a long time. The twin towers of Time Warner corporation is located here. The Dakota Avenue is a famous stop of Columbus circle. No one would have ever wanted to miss the opportunity travassing this historic street. I would rather describe it as a celebrity street with such renowned places of importance existing across this street.
