The neighborhood is kept clean by an established homeowners association. There are tennis courts and community pools behind the town hall. The lawncare is maintained by the homeowner dues as well as the painting on the exterior of the homes. The local elementary schools are top notch (one being rated the best in Garland...Routh Roach). Close to 635 and public transportation, but removed from all major traffic flow, it is like an oasis in the city. You can walk to the schools or stores and enjoy the community features safely with your family. Both young and old live in the neighborhood, some have lived here over 20 years. For city living, you really can't beat this...
Only down side is it is only townhomes, so you do live close to your neighbors, but the walls between are brick, so you don't hear through the walls. Your garage is in back and you have a nice size private back yard. Homes were built in the early 1970's, but are well maintained. Take a drive into this neighborhood and you will see it is well maintained and peaceful. Only road in is for the townhomes so you don't get the threw traffic and noise.
