"Crest Road-- It gets you to everything within minutes."
The two major streets Crest Road in Rancho Palos Verdes crosses are Hawthorne Boulevard and Crenshaw Boulevard. Both streets can get you into Torrance or the freeways. At the corner of Hawthorne and Crest is a Ralph’s grocery store. It is one of the most beautiful grocery stores I have ever been to. It has two parking lots on either side of it and both boast 180 degree ocean and Catalina Island views. The store has an indoor courtyard with tables and chairs and there is always plenty of parking.
At the corner of Crenshaw and Crest is the St. John Fisher church and school. The church is currently being remodeled and St. John Fisher School is an award winning K-8 private school.
Crest Road in Rancho Palos Verdes starts in the Los Verdes golf course area and ends at Crenshaw. Homes on Crest are very expensive. Many have stunning ocean views. Some parts of Crest Road are curvy and parking can be a problem, but the stretch between Hawthorne and Crenshaw is fairly wide and straight. People tend to hike, walk their dogs or jog on this particular stretch because of the side walk the street offers. Crest Road is pretty close to everything. Schools, shopping, churches, and parks are just minutes away. The homes on Crest are all well taken care of and they have nice lawns. Since Crest Road is a bigger street there tend to be more traffic.
