I used to live a few blocks away from there in apartments. We felt safe, although we were close to Colfax and a lower socio-economic class, so sometimes it could get slightly noisy. If you are used to the occasional drifter, bum, etc. that comes with near-city living, you'll be fine... this comes with proximity to Colfax. Those condos/townhomes are in pretty good condition and I think a majority of people own so they take decent care of their properties. The closest cute 'hood is Edgewater, on 25th street near Sheridan where there is a brewery, bar, thai place, coffee shop and pizza place. You are also close to Sloan's Lake for a nice stroll and view of downtown Denver. Bus line and light rail is close enough. You could always bike (albeit uphill) to the popular west highlands area. Overall, it's not that bad for the value. I now live just 15 blocks north in a more single-home area and like it much better, so I do like the area. But if you are trying to impress anyone with your location, (aesthetics or proximity to things to do) you will probably not do so. Depends on what you want!
