Are there any parks in Denver with swimming areas?

Either in lakes or pools?

Union Reservoir in Longmont is fun. It's a bit of a drive north of the city but worth it if you have a dog. They have a swim beach and a dog beach where you can swim with your dog. It's the only lake I know of around the area where you can swim with your dog. http://www.ci.longmont.co.us/parks/park_list/overview/union.htm

Yes. there are several. Denver Parks and Recreation has a good link to the public pools, both outdoor(closed Now) and indoor.

If you are looking for a swimming are in a lake. Try Cherry Creek Resovior. They do have a beach Swimming area.
